I was honoured to be included in Frameless Sky Issue 8. Congratulations on producing such a beautiful melding of words, images and sound. ~  Louise Hopewell, Australia

I was delighted that issue 9 of the video journal, Frameless Sky, arrived in the post today.
As usual, the editor Chrissi Villa has done an amazingly stellar job of selecting quality haiku and tanka and putting this together. The poems are truly breathtaking. And I just LOVE the subtle work of featured artist, Debbie Strange, who provided the visual inspiration that many of the poems respond to. The theme of her artwork was “Looking Softly Upon the World”. The music by TPR and Kevin MacLeod is wonderfully relaxing.

As if that isn’t enough, there is a special section with haiga by Australian poet Ron Moss. His artwork and haiku are featured, as well as audio by Ron reading his own work. I original pieces of Ron's work that grace the walls of my home. Cherita poems also receive a special mention in this issue with some wonderful examples.
I am delighted to have a couple of tanka in issue 9 of Frameless Sky. I am delighted this one was selected to be paired with Debbie’s photo of an American Indian tepee:

she smudges
with sweetgrass & sage
her quiet faith
in spite of all
their reservations

A teaser of the video journal can be found on YouTube.  Definitely worth a few minutes out of your day to chill and enjoy some wonderful poetry and art. ~
David John Terelinck, Australia

Watching Frameless Sky video of select haiku, haiga, tanka, cherita is an indescribable experience in less than an hour of observed life,
both internal and external, that is comparable to a concert that tickles the mind and strikes its various chords. ~ Angelo B. Ancheta, Philippines

I received my copy of Chrissi Villa's Frameless Sky issue 7 and watched it all the way through last night. The music is peaceful, the artwork stunning, and the poems are so beautiful. Many of the poems are quite hard-hitting as you would expect based on the theme of this issue, which I would call "an ode to the gritty city." If you haven't ordered your reasonably-priced copy yet, you are missing out! I highly recommend you add this to your collection. ~ Michael H. Lester, USA

WOW! Frameless Sky 7 arrived today and it's absolutely fabulous! The poems and photography are amazing. It is a great honour to be a part of something so classy and high quality. I particularly enjoyed Shrikaanth Krishnamurthy's cherita presentation. That is brilliant and so well done. It has given me a better idea of cherita. I found that funny, sensitive and poignant all at the same time. What a wonderful blend of qualities to encapsulate. I might have a go at cherita one day. ~ Martha Magenta, UK

Thank you for sending my copy of fs 7 which I received yesterday afternoon. You did a brilliant job with the poems and music. I watched it last night, the prefect time to enjoy it, and your chosen images gave the pieces much resonance. I particularly loved the cherita collection. I felt like I was in some small art cinema watching some film noir with the unravelling urban tales. It even made me forget that I had created the form. I was just another spectator being drawn in to the urban storytelling. ~ ai li, UK

It’s wonderful! Thanks so much for including me!

I will not share the link.

My favorite piece: “dreamcatcher/our old telepathy/works again”
